What is the correct method of performing Sajdah Sahw?
Sajdah Sahw (prostration of forgetfulness) becomes necessary when one omits a Wajib (obligatory) act of prayer forgetfully, or delays it. The correct method is to perform a single Salam to the right side after the Tashahhud in the final Rak'ah, then perform two additional prostrations (Sajdahs), sit back up, recite Tashahhud, Durood Ibrahim, and Dua Masoorah, and then complete the prayer with full Salam on both sides.
